This website is created for a class I am taking at Franklin University, The class is Effective Presentational Communication.
The INTRANET, INC., has created a team called, Girl Power, included in this team is Megan Dell, Rebecca Flethcer, Megan McGlinchey,
Kathleen Schroll, and myself, Shelly Smith.
On this home page, I'll introduce "Doing Business with the Intranet". What is the INTRANET? The intranet is a small
internet within the limits of a business, university, or corportation. This day and age many business' and universities
rely on the intranet for communication purposes, for example; reviewing company rules and regulations, ordering supplies,
reviewing meeting minutes, and filling out on-line forms. With the intranet this allows teams around the globe to collaborate
to discuss different ideas. This type of virtual communication is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week to those who have access to it, whether it be from a home office or on the road. The intranet is private commumication
